WEARE AWC

Aurora Wellness Community

is a partnership WITH the Aurora Community, CU School of Medicine, and CU Medicine to BUILD HEALTH, WEALTH, and WELL-BEING in Aurora, with a particular focus on residents who live in zip codes 80010, 80011, and 80012. This organization will focus on addressing the social determinants of health with a new primary care clinic as well as other services and ecosystems necessary to meet the needs of Aurorans. SUBTITLE: In partnership with Aurora small business, DopeMomLife, we have teamed up with Kounkuey Design Initiative to engage the community to help create our vision, mission, and values.

We are engaging with Aurora community members to:

  1. Dialogue about the goals for the AWC
  2. Learn about their needs and desires related to the future development
  3. Invite them to participate in future site planning

Modes of Engagement:

Community input surveys

Interviews with community leaders
